Yeah, yeah, we all want to be cool, and the East Side (that’s east of Swan Road) is one of Tucson’s trendiest neighborhoods.

But even more important: we all want to be well-fed. That’s why Restaurant Row, located here, is such a draw. With more than 20 restaurants located in a single block, you and your tastebuds will be very happy.

But there’s much more to the East Side than just a tasty meal. The renovated Park Place shopping center is here, along with several corporate and financial headquarters, including Tucson’s largest office building. Fort Lowell has been transformed from an abandoned 19th-century fort into a restored, iconic southwestern structure surrounded by parks and playgrounds.

A bit further out, the Tanque Verde community, located northeast of the city limits between the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains, offers varied housing and East Tucson apartment options, great schools, services and golf and country clubs, as a hot residential area in Pima County.
