18th Annual International Film Festival in Tucson, AZ

Are you a film enthusiast? Then you do not want to miss this year’s Arizona International Film Festival held in Tucson April 16 – 26, 2009. Featuring 100 flicks from more than 30 countries, this celebration of innovative independent films promises great entertainment for all ages. Showings take place at 10 exhibition sites so no matter what Tucson neighborhood you live in you’ll have access to the events.

In addition to film screenings, a variety of discussions, panels, workshops, and musical events will be taking place. Although some of the events require pricey tickets, there are plenty of options that are completely FREE! Find a free film screening in your Tucson neighborhood below:

Midtown Tucson neighborhood

East Tucson neighborhood

• Sunday April 19 at 4:30pm: “Speak for Yourself: Filmworks by Youth”
• Tuesday April 21 at 6pm: “Documentary Shorts” at The Screening Room
• Wednesday April 22 at 6pm: “Hariko No Tora (Paper Tiger)”
• Thursday April 23 at 6pm: “Cine Espanol, Take 1”
• Friday April 24 at 5pm: “IndieFilms FOR IndieYouth”
• Saturday April 25 at 2:30pm: “IndieFilms BY IndieYouth”

North Tucson neighborhood
