Santee

...a sure thing

If it were possible to list a city on the New York Stock Exchange, Santee would be a safe bet for investment.

It has everything a growing suburban town could hope for – the combination of urban proximity and country escape, mountains and lakes within biking distance, easy freeway and public transportation access into SD, a range of retailers and restaurants, growing corporate presence, a noteworthy school system and single and multi-family residences.

Whew.

Any downsides? Well, unless it bothers you that Santee has one of the lowest crime rates and one of the highest median household incomes among 18, SD cities, you'll be ok.

In fact, since these downsides are actually upsides, we think Santee's your place. Other than the two ginormous mixed-use developments currently under way, the remaining 25% of undeveloped Santee will be gone quicker then a free Google share on the NYSE.
