Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach has the best antique stores around. There are about five major antique stores to choose from, although my favorite is Newport Avenue Antiques, located at 4864 Newport Avenue. If you happen to be in the area on Wednesday afternoons, there is a Farmer’s Market from 4p – 8p.
