…RB sets the standard

In a neighborhood that’s locally referred to as “RB,” you’ve got to feel at least a little hip. Setting the standard for master-planned communities, this is a well-established, gorgeous area made up of canyons, rolling hills and red-tile-roofed, stucco houses. Kind of reminds us of the show 90210, but without all the LA.

These family-oriented locals love their golf, so polish your swing at the Oaks North Golf Course or the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course and Country Club. Or, go 90210-style and simply wine, dine and shop at the nearby Bernardo Winery. Just remember to leave the drama at home.

For those of us city dwellers, we can often find time to make a trip to the beach – but do not find enough time to venture out to the San Diego countryside. The San Diego countryside should not be overlooked in my opinion, as The Bernardo Winery awaits us.
