…as much fun as living in an amusement park

You like themed shot glasses and tchotchkes. You used to have a Beanie Baby collection, before your best friend insisted you sell it. Now a California State Park, Old Town offers a location along the San Diego River, where a costumed group of actors perform “living history” programs. Hop on the trolley and check out a great restaurant, local fiesta or nearby Craftsman-style homes. At any turn, you’ll be able to buy a souvenir.
