The San Diego Museum Council recently partnered with Macy's department stores to bring the joy of local culture to all San Diegans. During the month of February, admission to all 32+ museums in San Diego county is half price. Museums include, but are definitely not limited to:
-San Diego Natural History Museum
-San Diego Zoo
-San Diego Museum of Art and Museum of Contemporary Art
-Quail Botanical Gardens
-Birch Aquarium at Scripps
-Reuben H. Fleet Science Center
Even if you have lived in San Diego your whole life, I bet there are several of these museums you haven't experienced yet, or at least not since you were in elementary school.
If you recently moved to San Diego and haven't gotten a chance to be a tourist in your new town yet, now is the time! This weekend, why don't you get out of the house and explore some of these fun places. Who knows? You might meet some new friends or stumble upon some great new neighborhoods while you're at it!
