Located in Balboa Park, the Timken Museum of Art houses the world-class collection of European old masters American art, and Russian icons. Quietly located near the San Diego Museum of Art, the Timken Museum of Art is the spot for a cultural ‘quickie’ – the museum is only a few rooms, or for an afternoon of calm reflection (you won’t find the same weekend crowds as you will at SDMA or on education field trip days).

Oh my! When I lived in San Diego and North County in the late 80's, the area was the best kept secret in the world. Granted, I shared that secret with a million plus other folks, but they were mostly strangers to me.

What happened to the good stuff? The Kool-Aid, the bologna, extra Mayo, and my freak'n Liverwurst? This is for all my human colleagues that like it bad (health) and love it good (tasting)!
