All of us San Diego residents know that Hash House is an establishment you must try at least once. For those of you who love a scene, jinormous portions, a stellar bar that includes drinks like a 20 oz bud can in a paper bag, one of the best bloody mary’s in town, a mimomosa menu like you’ve never seen – think outside the box as you don’t have to order it with oj and a staff that is just as eclectic and friendly as the Hillcrest neighborhood – you’ll keep coming back.
For those of you who hate inconvenient parking, long waits, loud music and the guilty feeling of pure gluttony – you might make a visit to Hash House a Go Go a one time deal only.
Brace yourself for the very eclectic menu option. Some of my favs are the snickers flapjack, the bacon waffles, roasted pork tenderloin hash and the smoked salmon with basil, tomatoes and melted brie scramble.
