What could be cooler (literally) than watching a classic flick from decades past on a pool float? Watching for free.
You can catch this great deal at the Pearl Hotel's "Dive-In Theater" on Wednesday nights from July through September in Point Loma.
You can chill in the mid-century modern bar next to the oyster-shaped pool, or relax on a pool raft (you must either purchase a drink or be a current hotel guest for pool access) to watch a variety of movies from "Breaksfast at Tiffanys" (1961) to "Top Gun" (1986) that are projected on a 10x13 foot screen.
