Balboa Park

…this is not just any park

This park could even be more exciting than—hold on: do you see any New Yorkers?—Central Park.

In this corner, you’ve got the world-famous San Diego Zoo. In that corner, you’ll see the fabulous and always-entertaining Old Globe Theatre—that’s right—a replica of the legendary 16th-century center for Elizabethan masterpieces. And all through Balboa Park, you’ll find a number of museums, acres of scenery, walking and jogging paths and a Japanese friendship garden.

Can we go now?

Oh, and if you want to live around here, check out the neighborhoods of Hillcrest, North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, East Village and Midtown/Banker's Hill. Go ahead. We’ll wait, but not for long. We want to see the pandas.
