…settle down, safe ‘n sound

If some of your favorite things in life include seat belts, crossing guards and smoke alarms, you’ll love Murrieta.

It’s been noted as the safest city in Riverside County, and the safest town with a population of 50 to 100,000 in California—pretty impressive when you consider the population has doubled since the year 2000.

After its days as a tourist attraction in the 1930s, when people came in droves to dip into the famous hot springs, Murrieta quieted down for a while. Yet with the growing industrialization of San Diego and Orange County, and nearby Temecula, hundreds of families are looking for a place to call home. Easily accessible by interstates 15 and 215, residential Murrieta more than fits the bill.

With its beautiful surroundings and historic past, the city is bursting with civic pride. One fascinating local spot is the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa’s 50-acre Bible College and Conference Center, former home of the luxurious Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. In its heyday, the beautiful people came to relax amid the mud baths, spa and natural spring-fed mineral water swimming pool.

Knowing you’re safe, now your mom can sleep soundly too.
