…the city that shopping built

In 1968, the city of Montclair needed a way to increase its tax revenue. So it did something then considered creative…it built an 875,000-sq. ft. shopping complex. In its first year of operation, the center had increased revenues 20%. And the rest is (retail) history…

Montclair Plaza is still one of SoCal’s premier shopping destinations. And Montclair, located at the western edge of San Berdardino, continues to reap the rewards.

As with all real estate success stories, the good fortune of Montclair is due to three important factors: location, location and location. At the intersection of Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire, Montclair is a full-service city with a young and diverse population. It’s located near several colleges and universities, a regional airport, three theme parks, tons of restaurants, and that essential indicator of the good life, great golf.

So the next time someone (you know who you are!) implies that nothing good ever came of shopping…take them to Montclair.
