I lived in Phoenix for 18 years. I am now 22 and can't wait to go back to live there some day. First off, it sucks scraping off ice from your car in 9- degree weather. I hate not being able to be outdoors 365 days a year and do something active. In Phoenix, everyday is an outdoors day. It's fabulous! My favorite thing to do is to hike. I like to go to Pajestawa Peak and Camelback mountain. Such great workouts. Anyways here is a list of everything amazing: - BEAUTIFUL sunsets - Laying out during the times when the rest of the country is blizzarding - Awesome authentic mexican food (Carolina's, Sylvia's, Ajo Al's are all amazing) - Even better southwestern food (Richardson's is the best you can get. It's located in central Phoenix and is a local fave) - The smell of orange blossoms in spring time that covers the phoenix area -The nightlife is one of the best. Mill Avenue in Tempe is very fun, and Old Town Scottsdale is even better. It's blocks and blocks of clubs, bars, pubs, etc. No matter your taste, Scottsdale has it. My favorite bars are the ones that have great music but are more low key such as Loco Patrone, Salty Senoritas, Sandbar, and Coach House. This is just a few reasons of why my heart belongs to Arizona!
