  • The average economic impact of the Super Bowl on a host city is $300 - $400million.
  • About 123,000 people will infiltrate the city of Phoenix over Super Bowl weekend. About 73,000 in the stadium and 50,000 extra visitors.
  • 3,000 working media will attend the Super Bowl and 400 of those are international journalists.
  • Profile of the typical Super Bowl attendee:
    o 85% are from out of state
    o They’ll spend $1,500 - $2,000 during their four night stay
    o 53% earn at least $75,000 per year

Superbowl XLII, between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will take place February 3rd at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. The game can be viewed on FOX and kick-off is at 4:00 pm
