… developing community, diverse population & dynamite views

It’s only about ten miles from the center of downtown Phoenix, but South Phoenix feels worlds away from the city. When was the last time you drove alongside cotton and alfalfa fields to go to work? That’s what you’ll get in South Phoenix, which was established by farmers and dairymen in the 1870s.

The Salt River runs through the area and the 16,000-acre South Mountain Park Preserve is perfect for Saturday picnics and Sunday drives. Stop at Dobbes Point and get a great view of the city.

South Phoenix is still developing and discovering its own identity (we’ve all been there), so the agriculture bumps up against pockets of dense, urban areas with a diverse population.

The soon-to-be 40-acre town center will ensure a wave of new developments that will be balanced by equestrian trails, open spaces and plenty of room to find yourself.

South Phoenix has a wide variety of housing ops including single-family developments, post-war (that would be WWII) homes and affordable apartments.
