Paradise Valley

Send to a friend

…a resort-filled town that lives up to its name

Get ready to face your friends’ envious stares when you secure a place in Paradise Valley. Though it’s small (about 15,000 people live inside its 16 square miles), it contains more lush lawn space, golf courses and leisure-driven hotspots than you can imagine.

Driving through the area, you’ll be greeted by no less than 12 different resorts (with accompanying tourists), manicured gardens, and sprawling homes on acre-sized lots that offer pristine views of Camelback Mountain. Though there aren’t a ton of businesses in the immediate area, residents can find most amenities and services a few miles north.

The town is only nine miles northeast of downtown Phoenix and it’s often considered to be an extension of Scottsdale; hence, the Scottsdale prices. Last we checked, there’s a median home price of $1.5 million—but really, how can you put a price on Paradise?
