A local Phoenix gallery is hosting a fine art charity silent auction over the course of two weeks with 20 local artists who have donated their pieces of Arizona inspired art to the silent auction creating an array of paintings, photographs, oils, quilting and even copper scratch board.

Green Thing is a non-profit, online community that motivates people to do one Green Thing per month in order to help prevent global warming. The mission is to get as many people in as many countries to support the Green Thing of the month and then use this 'people power' to eventually gain the support of government.
