The east Valley may be known for its desert landscapes and healthy population of elderly drivers, but it is also home to the Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing Aviation Museum. Located near Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, AZ, the museum takes visitors on a flight back through aviation and wartime history from WWII to Vietnam.

Located near downtown Mesa, AZ, the Arizona Museum for Youth (AMY) is a fine arts museum with children in mind. The art galleries cater to kids and adults alike with changing exhibits that bring various forms of media to the museum, as well as a selection of art classes.

The Downtown Phoenix Public Market, open Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, plans to open a large indoor market. The new indoor market, in addition to the outdoor markets, will be open 6 days a week!
