…a lush suburb you won’t want to leave

Called “Tree City, USA,” this planned residential community is marked by (you guessed it) an abundance of palm and citrus trees, plus shrubs, cacti and flowers. Take a walk down the winding, tree-lined streets or browse the shops in the Tierra Verde business district and you’ll understand why the people here are so laid-back and friendly.

Only 3-square miles, this is a gorgeous, charming community and, as many residents will tell you, it feels like a separate world from the rest of Phoenix (just minutes away).

The big, four-star Wigwam Resort with championship golf, a spa and gourmet dining provides lots of local jobs. There's also the Wildlife World Zoo, where the giraffe feeding area is a big draw, and Luke Air Force Base—the largest training center in the world for F-16 pilots.

This area is cool for just about everyone—professionals, families and retirees. You'll find plenty of housing ops…sorry, no treehouses - just yet.
