Not only is the picketing persisting, but the Writers Guild of America is now enlisting children to join the line. Seriously? Perhaps the children should be spending their free time engaging in any or all of the following:
- Reading a book
- Practicing an instrument or taking one up
- Walking the dog, cat or any four legged friend
- Writing in their journal or starting one
- Painting, coloring or drawing
- Penning and recording a song
MOST importantly, they should be spending quality time with their family!
Americans in general spend far too much time in front of the TV. This strike is an opportunity for all of us to get off the couch and do something worthwhile with our free time!
