…can you deal with year-round perfection?

Trabuco Canyon, with its quaint general store, is famous for places like Cook's Corner, a 60-year-old restaurant that's big with bikers. Another long-time attraction, Trabuco Oaks Steak House is a 30-year-old eatery that serves amazing food with a little something extra—if you walk in wearing a tie, they'll playfully snip it off and hang it from the rafters (along with Richard Nixon’s and hundreds more).

Dove Canyon and Coto de Caza are both gated communities located within Trabuco Canyon. The 523-acre Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park is here, with trails for hikers, bikers and horseback riders, a butterfly garden, areas for picnicking, and enough greenery to satisfy anyone.

Situated among rolling foothills and picturesque canyons, these communities couldn’t sound any better if they were scripted. It’s a setting suitable for TV (The Real Housewives of Orange County is actually set in Coto de Caza). None has more than 5,000 residents, and all provide gorgeous views and recreation areas with golf, swimming pools, tennis courts and the usual.
