…quiet and proud

Stanton’s original motto was “Crossroads to Vacationland,” since tourists would pass through on their way to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and the beaches. But residents changed the slogan because they wanted the world to know that Stanton isn’t a thoroughfare, but a worthwhile destination in itself.

Unlike its coastal neighbors, you won't find beach cruisers or gnarly waves within Stanton's land-locked borders. And, unlike its inland neighbors, Stanton doesn't really have many historic landmarks or vintage neighborhoods.

So what does Stanton have, you ask? Quality of life…inexpensive housing in the form of one-story houses, townhomes and rental units, and excellent commercial and industrial growth. This, residents will tell you, is a deep source of civic pride, hence their city slogan, "Community Pride and Forward Vision."

Check it out. Just ‘cause you’re passing through doesn't mean you won't want to stop for a while.
