…a tiny town with big spirit

Named among the top 20 small cities in which to live by Money Magazine in 2007, La Palma was originally incorporated as dairyland (seriously!), cows and all.

In the 1960s, knowing their land was made for more than milking, farmers invited developers to create a balanced community with residential, commercial and industrial areas. The name was changed to La Palma to honor its Spanish roots.

These days, La Palma residents take pride in their small (1.76-sq.-mile) community, enjoying the constantly improving infrastructure, receptive local government and one of the lowest crime rates in Orange County.

Don't miss the town events and free concerts that occur year 'round.
