…literally, something for everyone

Though La Habra is, for the most part, a quiet, middle-class bedroom community, it also hosts a number of activities aimed to liven up the area and draw visitors from neighboring towns. There’s the Corn Festival and the hands-on Children’s Museum—partially housed inside a 1920s-era Union Pacific train depot.

With a focus on general improvement and development, La Habra includes major retail shopping, a diverse community center with senior citizen programs, recreation classes, youth and adult sports and a volunteer program. (La Habra apartments are scattered throughout the area, so look around.) The new multi-million dollar La Bonita Sports Complex is home to a skate park, multi-use rink and court, four lighted playing fields, a playground and a concession building.

Plus, if the beach, mountains and desert make you happy, they're all only an hour's drive away.
