It took 20 years, but Fullerton has turned itself into one of the most lively, modern communities in Orange County.

Forget the worn pawnshops and secondhand stores that once dominated this 'hood; now there's a rustic, old-town atmosphere amid more than 70 historic buildings, upscale Fullerton apartments and decorative walkways.
