Spanish for “Crown of the Sea,” Corona del Mar lies west of Newport Beach, along the Pacific Ocean. The streets are all named after flowers, from A to P, and the beaches and coves are so beautiful, Disney even used them as locations in a few TV productions.

Speaking of beaches, there’s one to fit every personality and style—Big Corona offers mild waves, good for families, Little Corona boasts a tidepool, the rugged coves of Laguna Beach are great for snorkeling and scuba diving, and the Main Beach hosts pro volleyball and impromptu basketball on its grassy parkland.

Away from the water, Corona del Mar mixes trendy nightlife and a wide range of eateries, and housing options offer older, freestanding properties as well as newer ranch-style developments.
