…a planned community with a heart in the arts

Tucked in the foothills of north Orange County, Brea is one of those planned communities that appears to have thought of everything.

Housing options are diverse, comprised of single-family developments, apartment communities, condos, townhomes—even five separate mobile home parks. Brea Downtown includes over 50 acres of shopping and entertainment, with a pedestrian-happy Birch Street Promenade you can stroll along to find bookstores, restaurants and a retro cinema complex. Plans to revitalize the northeast end of town include a sports park and a new school.

At the heart of it all is a passion for the arts. The people of Brea take pride in their nationally recognized art gallery, sculpture collection, the Curtis Theatre and various venues that are part of the Arts in Public Places program.
