As a college student, everyone knows that we are thrifty when it comes to grub and the occasional drink or two. Roma Restaurant and Lounge satisfies just those exact needs with a touch of laid back atmosphere thrown into the mix. With its unassuming vibe and hip tracks playing overhead, Roma will definitely go down in some of my best memories of college. Many nights were spent enjoying all-you-can-eat spaghetti, supreme pizza, enormous Italian Margaritas (among others), and the famous hot-house calzone.
It is cheap - especially w/ half off coupons which we always seemed to have an endless supply of. What makes Roma so popular is the great lunch/dinner and drink specials that brings customers crawling back for more. I recommend splitting the Family Salad with friends which consists of a mound of lettuce piled high with fresh veggies and a side of ranch. Then the Large Deluxe Pizza hand tossed made from scratch and topped with two of the finest salty cured meats sausage and pepperoni while a generous amount of green peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives and mozzarella cheese.
I have to say that one of the downfalls of this place are the crowds, but that never held me back from getting an amazing meal and drinking with friends for under $10 bucks!
