Loveland…making the world go ‘round since 1877


Yes, there actually is a place on earth called Loveland. And yes, it is home of the Valentine Re-Mailing Program, in which hundreds of thousands of hopeful romantics send their Valentines every year to be hand-stamped with a Valentine’s Day verse then sent to intended recipients. On the designated day of love, the city also authorizes the placement of red hearts with personalized messages around town, to be enjoyed by those in, you guessed it…love.

However, cynics: listen up: this community wasn’t ranked among the top “Great Art Destinations” in the U.S., or in the 100 Best Small Art Towns in America for nothing. And you certainly can’t easily earn the moniker “number one place to revitalize your life” (AARP magazine). Loveland is home to a sizable art collection and has several well-visited bronze casting foundries that attract sculptors from around the world.

And with world-class art, plus a strong sense of community and a whole lot of outdoor space to hike, fish, bike, ride, golf or camp in, what’s not to love?
