Loveland loves art

Posted by elizabeth on 7/30/2007 3:09:27 PM in Loveland, art

Loveland, CO was the first city in Colorado to adopt the Art in Public Places program. Now, cities all over Colorado are designating dollars for art that everyone can enjoy for free.

2007 installations include the oragami like Red & Blue Pony (pictured above) by Kevin Box installed in Benson Park. Currently, there are 269 pieces through out the city.

Print of this handy guide created by Loveland's Visual Art Committee, and enjoy a walking art tour on the next sunny Saturday.

Make sure to check out Fort Collins Art in Public Places too.
