If you haven’t visited Cure Organic Farm in Boulder you must drive there immediately (well before the farm stand closes at 7pm). This 8-acre farm distributes all of their crops within 50 miles of the ‘stead. That fact alone is pretty phenomenal but read on, this community oriented farm does so much more.

A portion of the crops are sold at the Boulder County Farmers’ Market every Wednesday and Saturday on 13th Street between Arapahoe & Canyon. Some are delivered to CSA members (otherwise known as the community that supports agriculture – you too can be a member). Others are sold to local restaurants such as Z Cuisine and Duo both in the Highlands neighborhood.  (Check out the full list at: http://www.cureorganicfarm.com/links.htm).

Another portion of the crops are given to elderly folks in need of healthy food. And the remainder is sold at the farm stand located at 7416 Valmont Road under the farm’s Willow tree. In continuing the tradition the stand exists to allow neighbors and passer-bys to help themselves to whatever is in season, leaving money in a coffee can. 

But don’t just stop by for the groceries, bring your boots and get dirty. Cure Organic Farm encourages the community to join them in the fields - to connect with their local food sources.
