Change neighborhood to:
…where it’s always 45 degrees
You know that phrase, no matter where you go, there you are? If you get yourself to New Brighton, there you are—smack-dab between the equator and the North Pole. Pretty centrist, huh?
Hard to believe, but there are even better reasons for considering a move to New Brighton.
This quiet Twin Cities ’burb is a residential haven that was built up during the 1960s and ‘70s, with some houses that are considered modernist gems. More recent construction, including some New Brighton apartment developments, makes for a nice mix of housing opps.
New Brighton has a well-organized Family Service Center, where you’ll find an indoor playground, banquet/conference rooms, fitness facilities including a gym, walking/running track and fitness studio. The 217 acres of Long Lake Regional Park assure that no resident can complain of boredom—there’s boating, hiking and biking trails, playing fields and swimming from Memorial to Labor Days.
Big-box shopping and chain restaurants are easy to come by here, but if you’d like something more local—arty, even—you’re golden. Easy access to Minneapolis’ northeast side is your key to galleries, independent restaurants and other fun shopping.
And there you are—well centered.
