…convenience, convenience, convenience

Some places just seem to have it all. This major, uber-convenient area of St. Paul west of downtown includes the Lexington-Hamline, Merriam Park and Snelling-Hamline neighborhoods.

Where Merriam Park offers well-to-do residential streets and boutique-y shopping and eateries, the intersections of Snelling and Lexington at University offer suburban-style shopping, conveniently located in the heart of the city.

This side of town is known for its large single-family homes, many of which were built in the early 1900s. But there’s also a wide selection of apartments available, and great proximity to public transportation. Again with the convenience!

For fun, there are beautiful walking and biking paths along the river on the western edge of the ‘hood, and Summit Avenue, considered the “crown jewel” of St. Paul for its magnificent Victorian mansions, is always a treat. Concordia University and the University of St. Thomas add to the neighborhood’s character.

This might just be it. The perfect place to live. And did we mention the convenience?
