Change neighborhood to:
...education-minded ‘hood
Mendota Heights is a smart city. There’s a public high school (Henry Sibley High), the only all-girls high school in the entire state of Minnesota (Convent of the Visitation) and an all-boys high school (Saint Thomas Academy). Plus, this ‘hood is home to Brown College.
When residents aren’t hitting the books, they’re enjoying the area's natural beauty: curvilinear streets with Mendota Heights apartments and single-family homes set among rolling hills, river bluffs and generous helpings of trees. It's why we think Mendota Heights is one of the Twin Cities’ top 'burbs.
There are tons of parks here (adjacent Ft. Snelling Park provides trail access and all the amenities of the river-front) along with easy highway access, which means downtown Minneapolis, the airport and the all-important Mall ofAmerica are nice and close. Yet another learning experience.
