…ladies and gentlemen, start your swooning

The Harriet area is one of the most gorgeous parts of the Twin Cities.

We’re absolutely aware that the statement above is completely subjective. But look at the pictures (yes, go ahead, click
through) and we're sure you’ll agree.

Made up of Linden Hills, East Harriet, King Field, Fulton, Lynnhurst, Tangletown, Armatage, Kenny and Windom—all centered around Lake Harriet, where there seems to be a constant stream of activity and impromptu concerts by Prince.

Harriet contains some beautiful mansions (the closer to the lake, the larger they get), and spacious two-story homes that are set back from the streets, with generous yard space for lounging and playing in the snow. Even the multifamily apartment buildings are quaint and roomy.

Tons of parks make Harriet even more attractive, with rec facilities, fields, courts and lots of opportunity for physical activity. And, the historic Lake Harriet-Como Streetcar tops the charts for cuteness. Check out Penn Avenue South and the intersection of 43rd and Upton Avenue for lots of great shops, boutiques and eateries.
