Smack dab at the halfway point between Minneapolis and St. Paul, the aptly named Hamline Midway serves as one of the Twin Cities’ major shopping districts. Here, Hamline and Concordia universities draw students from nearly every U.S. state and over 31 countries. And you know what that means: no matter what the time of day, you can get a great cup of coffee, a decent sandwich and/or hemp accessories.
The further away from Hamline U. you get, the less “cute” it gets, but that’s okay. While few people think business parks are beautiful, they help keep the economy going. This easy-to-reach urban ‘hood is conveniently located near freeways and the commuter rail.
A fun fact about Hamline Midway? Superlatively talented Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schultz hailed from this middle-of-the-road town.
