Located immediately west of downtown, Bryn Mawr is an urban ‘hood in disguise. Surrounded by so much green space, it’s almost like being in the middle of a park—and you practically are. Hike, bike or jog along any one of several trails and you’ll inevitably end up in some gorgeous locale, like Wirth Park or Cedar Lake.
The 650 acres of lush land definitely add to the ambiance of this chic ‘hood, but once you hit the streets; you’ll feel all cosmopolitan again. Historic sites, chic boutiques, colleges and universities will capture your attention by day, and cute restaurants and entertainment venues will lure you at night. As an area with higher average incomes than most other Twin Cities ‘hoods, going out on the town here means hangin’ out in style.
