If it wasn't for a group of citizens that banded together to protest the prospect of a sewage farm in the city of Covina, we wouldn't have today what we call West Covina. The group decided to start their own city over on the west side of town and as fate would have it, West Covina was and still is the fastest growing city in the Valley.

Trading in the agricultural landscape for a more suburban feel, West Covina is now a bustling bedroom community and is gaining popularity. As part of the pro-active redevelopment efforts of the city's business districts, it has successfully attracted many popular restaurants, shops and big businesses.
