…shaking off a motley reputation

Reseda has a history of getting picked on.

Example: remember in the Karate Kid, when Daniel tells Ali’s parents where he lives? Yeah, you remember that scowl. Then Tom Petty mentions it in Free Fallin’—yep, it’s the town with the “freeway runnin’ through the yard.”

And it eventually turned out that Reseda—right at the intersection of Wilbur and Saticoy—was the epicenter of the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. So yeah, Reseda has had something of a tumultuous past.

Yet let’s move on from our yesterdays, shall we? This affordable community offers a ton of apartment buildings, shops and restaurants all along Reseda Boulevard and Sherman Way, and there’s even a cute duck pond inside Reseda Park.

And if a skinny kid from Jersey can win the tournament and get the girl, you can be happy here, too.
