Bravo has a knack for producing similar-themed shows that give you that 'I think I know what is going to happen next and I love it' way and their latest production focuses on the LA real estate game. Flipping Out is about Jeff, the OCD owner of a successful house flipping business who employs about 7 personal assistants. He buys and sells properties all over the LA area and is pretty good at it from what I have observed.
And maybe I don't get out enough and I definitely can't afford to buy anything in the glamorous areas, but I feel like I am learning a little bit about LA real estate from Flipping Out. It's a little intense to watch - I suggest a glass of vino during the show, but Jeff does give you some insight about purchasing property in LA hoods.
So if your guilty pleasure is watching reality tv, check out Flipping Out, at least you can say you learned something.
