North Hollywood

Send to a friend

…for all you funky bohemians

If you ask anyone about where to go in The Valley, they’re likely to tell you that North Hollywood (called “NoHo” by some) is the place. Fun and funky, artsy and eclectic, this part of town is the ethnically, socially, economically diverse LA neighborhood that’s just waiting to inspire a sitcom. The series would focus on south NoHo, in an apartment building full of aspiring actors who work varied day jobs, hang out in coffee shops and embroil themselves in a hodgepodge of romantic escapades by night.

Sound familiar? You must live here already. Or, you live in an area just like it. Yet all of North Hollywood isn’t the LA version of Friends; the northern and central parts are a bit more ethnic and older. As with most of LA, it’s best navigated by automobile.
