I la la love my French neighborhood café because of its dark, cozy, laid back but bustling, crowded but controlled, intimate atmosphere. Its narrow space, close quarters tables and long wooden bar make it perfect for date night, drinks with friends and of course a celeb siting or two (my first time there I sat next to Kirsten Dunst).
I have to rave about the following items on the menu:
Apps: French onion soup, feta and tomato corstini, cheese plate and buffalo mozzarella salad
Entrees: Any crepe and the pizza Poubelle
Desert: the Nutella crepe or the molten chocolate cake
Their wine isn’t too shabby either. Although be prepared to spend a pretty penny on the drinks. But the wine chats and purple lips are worth every last dime.
