…10 districts on the verge

By the time you reach the end of this description, LA’s downtown cluster—which includes the Civic Center, Historic Core, and the Artist, Fashion, Toy and Jewelry Districts, just to name a few—may have reached the tipping point, when this long-developed area finally experiences the surge in residents, culture and amenities that it’s been waiting for.

With so many markets, businesses, cultural and civic attractions, like the world-renowned Mark Taper Forum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, several galleries and Little Tokyo, plus an abundance of hip restaurants and bars, it’s not surprising that you’ll find new lofts and condos at every turn. This is, after all, the financial center of the western U.S.

If this area is too quiet at night for you now, venture to the outlying communities of Koreatown or Los Feliz, but don’t be gone long—downtown LA will emerge riiiighht…now.
