Beverly Hills

Send to a friend

…get out your shades, put down the top and join the beautiful people

Where can you find picturesque greenery, guarded, celebrity-owned mansions, wide, palm tree-lined streets—and a police force so stylish, they roll around in SUVs? Only in Beverly Hills, baby. With glamorous shops and hotspots clustered between Santa Monica and Wilshire Boulevards, this is the area to see and be seen in Southern California.

Though not actually part of LA proper, Beverly Hills is famous for classic SoCal style, with Rodeo Drive and the historic Beverly Wilshire Hotel representing this world-famous city. Yet the area is more than stereotypical 90210—there are several ethnic communities and residents of varying political viewpoints.

Oh, and if you’re tempted to fly down the streets a la Paris Hilton, beware: you likely won’t get jail time, but you will earn a ticket for at least $250. Go easy on the pedal, or opt for the pedestrian-friendly streets.
