It's the best dive bar in LA and as un-hollywood as they come...small with a mixed crowd, a jukebox in the corner, cartoon mural on the wall and waiters in little black vests.
People are actually friendly here and they serve some strong shots. It's a hit or miss on the mixed drinks but I prefer a draft so it doesn't really affect me.
Steer clear of theatre times (Pantages is next door) - it can get pretty out of control.
