A couple of summers ago I rented a house boat on Lake Mead with friends. There were about 16 of us and we had the time of our lives. There’s nothing like soaking in the desert sun from the rooftop deck, taking turns preparing lunch and dinner for friends, campfire chats, water-slide tricks into the water, fishing, tubing, kayaking and camping under the desert sky.
