Summerlin,
dining out
Ahh just walking in the front door is Zen to me...the first sense to hit you is sight. The restaurant is gorgeous with over-sized paintings, underground glass-covered ponds, sheer silk drapes, deep colors and bamboo accents. As you’re taking in the beauty the scents from the kitchen are making your mouth water. Hannah certainly knows how to cook!
The only problem is trying to decide what to eat when you can choose from sushi, satay, salads and seafood. I asked if I could have a sampler platter of everything and the waiter laughed…I was serious. Don’t worry I did order the family platter as a starter. There was so much to feast my palate on but my favs were the coconut shrimp and the beef & chicken satay…mmm makes me hungry just thinking of them. You can’t go wrong with any of the sushi rolls but definitely order the Orange Ginger Fennel salad it’s pretty much amazing! I had the steamed fish of the day (that I have to say was unbelievable…light and full of flavor) and of course a side of the garlic noodles (that I now dream about)! Yes, I have become a regular.
So next time you’re in the ‘hood stop by Hannah’s Neighborhood Bistro for a little Baby Bok Choy and Buddha Delight!
