Easter Bruch, Vegas Style

I am a huge advocate of breakfast, especially brunch, and especially on holidays. For me, the best part about attending Easter services is the brunch you get to attend afterwards! Whether you're hoping to keep it casual or find something fancy, there is no shortage of options to make your taste buds happy in Las Vegas

If you are a true seafood lover, then head into Henderson for Easter brunch at Todd's Unique Dining. From 11:30am - 2:30 pm, this primarily seafood restaurant will be serving shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, crabcakes and a variety of benedicts for your pleasure. Fruit platters and steak skillets will also be available for those that left their sea legs at home.

Looking for something spicier? Check out Border Grill in the Southeast Valley [where: 3950 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89119] for a brunch of modern Mexican favorites. Choose 3 items from a menu consisting of Santa Fe enchiladas, egg quesadillas and banana french toast, and much more. Wash it all down with Sangria, of course!

Want something more traditional, but still laid back? The Seasons Easter buffet at Silverton Hotel and Casino in the Southwest Valley. Just a few blocks off the Strip, this hotel/casino is much more wallet friendly. It serves traditional, scrumptious brunch options for only $20 per person starting at 11am. Try favorites such as roasted lamb and citrus glazed chicken in addition to basic breakfast items.

For an all out fancy Easter brunch, the place to be is downtown at Bally's Sterling Brunch [where: 3645 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV ]. Although this brunch is served every Sunday from 9:30am - 2:30pm, this Sunday there are sure to be a few special touches. Sip unlimited champagne and feast on gourmet delicacies such as smoked salmon, caviar, lamb chops, beef tenderloin, chocolate covered strawberries, sushi, and, of course, made-to-order omelettes and french toast. Although the price is steep ($58 per person!) it's worth every penny. And, just think, you probably won't eat again for a day or so!
