Orchard Town Center is hosting a bean soup social benefiting the Women's Bean Project on Saturday, September 9 from 11am-1pm. For your $20 ticket, you will be treated to a delicious bean soup lunch prepared by the restaurant chefs from Orchard's restaurants: Mexico Cantina, Woodlands Grill and Rock Bottom Brewery.
There will also be music from pianist and jazz vocalist Rekha Ohai.
You will get a complimentary Recipe for Success Cookbook, full of great recipes from local dignitaries (you know, the names that show up in bold type.)
There will also be a live auction of one-of-a-kind soup bowls decorated by more of the bold type-folks. And the kiddos will get something to decorate as well.

And PS - maybe they'll have all their Women's Bean Project products there for sale. If they do, get the pea soup mix - it is wonderful - has great spices. And the ten bean, yum! And the black bean soup....need I say more?
